Terms & Conditions

Bookings will be confirmed and held on receipt of a deposit or full payment, depending on the tour, by Back To Nature Tours (NZ) Ltd. Rates quoted are in New Zealand dollars, are valid from the 15 October 2009 to 14 October 2010 and are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (currently 12.5%).

Discover the Peninsula Tour

Credit card details will confirm your booking. Your credit card will be charged 50% of the tour price and your place(s) reserved as soon as your details have been submitted. Our online booking system is safe and secure and a receipt will be issued immediately. The final payment can be made any time prior to the tour date, in some cases final payment on the day of the tour will be accepted.

Cancellation (re-booking at no extra cost).

• 3-14 days prior to tour - 10% charge
• 1-2 days prior to tour - 50% charge
• Failure to meet guide at agreed pick-up point on day of tour - 100% charge

Cruise Ship Excursions

If your ship is unable to make it into Port Chalmers due to mechanical or adverse weather conditions we will fully refund your tour. We require a 50% deposit followed by full payment prior to the tour date.

Moods of the South

A 10% deposit is required after consultation and agreement on tour itinerary. A further 40% deposit is required 30 days prior to scheduled tour date. Full payment must be made 2 weeks prior to tour date.

Cancellation

• + 45 days prior to tour - 10% charge of the total tour price
• Within 45 - 30 days = 20% charge of the total tour price
• Within 29 - 14 days = 30% charge of the total tour price
• Within 13 - 8 days = 50% charge of the total tour price
• Within 7 - 0 days = 100% charge of the total tour price

Back to Nature Tours (NZ) LTD management and guides accept no responsibility for loss, damage to, or theft of personal belongings (owners risk), or for any expenses, including medical and transport expenses arising from personal accident, injury or illness. We reserve the right to change any itinerary in the interest of safety, comfort, weather and any other unforeseen factors. Clients (particularly Moods of the South tours) are recommended to take out the necessary travel insurance.
